Well, after a chaotic week of recovering from delivering a baby, closing on our own house, some semi-sleepless nights with a newborn, stressing out about buying another house, packing around two kids and trying to organize every piece of our belongings and pick and choose what is needed for daily living and what we can do without for a month or two.... we're finally to D-Day.... Moving Day.
Our house is still not fully packed. There are little items laying all around... they don't really have a place and I'm not sure what to do with them. My computer is still hooked up as I'm relishing the last bit if internet and wireless that I have. My mom has internet, but its through her cell phone or something... she has to hook her cell phone up to the computer. So, I'm not positive how often I'll be able to get my daily dose of blogging. sniff sniff!
I was up late last night transferring my email to a new account. We cancelled our home services with At&t (dish network, internet, home phone) and with canceling also goes my email address (a sbcglobal suffix). I'm glad I realized this sooner rather than later! So, I'm now a Yahoo girl and I'll stay that way. Not sure why I didn't do that a long time ago. It also turns out at H house (if we get it) that we won't be able to get At&t high speed internet so we'll be in search of a new internet provider if/once we move.
I'm just getting up and around... I need to run Hudson over to my grandmas and pack up my car to start taking our clothes and daily belongings over to my mom's along with Porter. I'm going to spend the day doing little trips back and forth and also attempt to figure out disconnecting my internet/router/modem and try to memorize how to put it back together. That will be fun... I have no idea how to set up the router/modem. I'll probably have to contact my "personal tech support"... Heather's husband LOL!
Anyhow... this might be my last update for a bit. Wish us luck this weekend, and keep your fingers crossed we hear something back about our offer on H house.

ReplyDeleteGood luck with everything! I know it's a pain now, but each step gets you closer to the goal - a new, bigger house that you love! If you think about it that way, it's exciting, right?
