We're cleared to close!

After this entire week of phone calls and waiting for faxes and statement verifications and bugging people to get their shit done and emails and waiting and hoping and praying that things would hurry and get wrapped up.... we finally are cleared to close! Our loan officer is still thinking we'll be able to set the closing for tomorrow, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel for sure!

That tidbit of good news is offset by the fact that Porter came walking to me throwing up his Fruity Cheerios all over the living room floor. I was in the middle of changing Hudson's diaper, so I attempted to hustle Porter over to the dining room floor (wood) and then got wrapped up with cleaning him up and noticed that poor Hudson was still laying in the livingroom with legs kicking around, bare butt hanging out.

So far Porter is acting fine, though. I've set him up with the Jungle Book movie and hopefully we'll keep the day low-key. I had a session scheduled with Missy today (baby Carter), but I had to cancel.

A little Porter funny for today..... We've been working on his pronunciation of "F's". He pronounces "f" as the "tr" sound. Such as.... THat was a trunny trace (funny face).... I kicked that ball with my troot. I caught a trish at the lake! Well, he can make the "f" sound if he really thinks about it (if we ask him to slow it down), and today he was playing with some trucks and said "I like this trire f*uck" instead of fire truck HAHAH! He got the f and t mixed around LOL! Oh man...

  1. COngrats!!!! That must be such a relief!

Morgan can't say F either - like he says muttin for muffin, I think F must be really hard or something. He used to not be able to say S either but he's almost there on that one.

AHHH he just managed to drop a million felts on the floor and get it all over his face at the same time - WHY?? I'm hoping those are the washable ones!!

  2. I hope Porter is feeling better. Cute story about the fire truck. There are a few words we have questioned REyna on, too. I hope they aren't swear words. :)
