Home Bittersweet Home

After a full day of travel, Porter and I are home.

And exhausted.

We were both missing Ryan and Hudson, although Hudson could have shown a LITTLE bit more excitement toward us coming home. (He did love the boat... errr..... airplane we brought him. He was adamant it was a BOOOA-TT BOOOOA_TT BoatBoatBoat!!)

I'm too pooped to even revisit all the events of this weekend... the aquarium, meeting up with an old friend and her family, walking the pier and seeing fishermen catch sharks, picking up seashells, 3 mile runs on the beach, shopping, spotting dolphins and shrimp boats off the shore, riding around in the golf cart....

But, to avoid being an absolute tool, I'll share a few pictures from our highlight of the morning: Feeding Seagulls.

Porter woke me up this morning and told me "We forgot to feed the seagulls this weekend!"

We had a little time before we had to leave for the airport so we went out on the beach and fed the gulls. It was a little bit of a flashback of The Birds (ever see that movie? creepy...).

Porter had a BLAST. He was chasing the birds and feeding them and running around and laughing.

Perfect ending to our perfect weekend.
