Supper Club

About a month ago Katie and I decided to organize a Supper Club for our close friends. We always seem to hang out just the girls, or the families with the kids but rarely just the adults.

So, we are going to rotate dinners at each family's house once a month. Adults only, no kids. Get a sitter or get out. Adult conversation, no whining, no cutting up anyone else's food for them. No spilled milk, no thrown plates.

Sounds like Heaven, huh?

Tonight was our first monthly Supper Club at the Huffs. Katie got all Martha on us and had little pumpkin place settings. Her table looked fab.
The girls sat and chatted for a bit while the guys cooked the meat and watched the Lions play. At one point Ryan said to me "This is so weird... I keep feeling like I need to yell at Porter." HAHAHA! We all said numerous times... "This is great! No kids. This is so WEIRD.... we can actually have adult conversation and all talk amongst ourselves without being interrupted, having to wipe someone's ass or nose or change a diaper."

We had some great laughs and had a marvelous 2 and a half hours of Adult-Only time. I am definitely going to be looking forward to this every month!
