Kitchen and Foyer Makeover

Here is our foyer when we moved in (on the Left) and then once I got to it.... ripped carpet off stairs, stripped wallpaper down, painted walls.  Notice the stairs.... icky.

And here is our foyer now.... painted a neutral greenish color... stairs sanded and stained a dark walnut, and risers/railings painted.  *sigh* soooo much better!

And the kitchen.....  We obviously still have to get that beam framed in, drywalled and painted.  (UGH).  And I just purchased the slate tiles for the floor... not sure when that will get done.  I also want to find a black fridge and black stove/microwave to replace the white... eventually I want stainless steel but black will be a lot cheaper for now.

  5. Hi Nicole,

I sometimes visit your blog through Jane or Saide, I noticed in this post you have a mirror in your dining room that looks similar to the PB Eagan mirror. Can I ask where you got it? I have been looking for one.

  6. It looks amazing! I absolutely love your decorating style. And even better, you usually DIY on a budget!

And once again I have a question about where you got something....I have been looking for a mirror with hooks like the one in your entryway. Would you mind sharing where you found it?
