Busy weekend so far

I haven't had a chance to even update from our doctors appointment yesterday. (btw... in the meantime everything looks a-okay)

After our appointment we had to take my car in AGAIN because it was acting up AGAIN. So, a diagnostic was run on it and basically its a guessing game as to what is wrong. We're going to try changing the spark plugs on it (which includes taking of some part near the engine I believe... so just changing these spark plugs is a task in itself). Its going to cost around $200. Did I mention that no one knows if this for sure will fix the problem (this is after asking the dealership and our mechanic).

Then we rushed home to make dinner and dealt with the phone ringing a million times. For some reason the phone rang ALL afternoon and ALL evening. GAH!

After dinner we had a pseudo-game-night at my mom's. It was supposed to be a bunch of Ry and my friends both from high school and new friends but of course the only person who could make it was Maria. We had fun anyway. It was Ry and I, Maria and my mom and her boyfriend Brian. We played Spoons, Apples to Apples and Nerts.

We left there around midnight and this morning I've been cleaning the house, wrangling Porter, washed 3 loads of laundry and got ready to go to my aunt and uncles for my extended family Christmas. Yes, Christmas in January (even better... Ryan's extended family Christmas isn't until the 24th LOL!). So, Ry just got home and we're going to leave for an hour trip to their house.

After "Christmas" we're going to drop Porter off at my moms where he'll stay the night along with Aubri (awww.. cousins sleepover HAHA!). Ryan and I are going to meet up with some of my girlfriends (and their significant others/husbands) for Rock n Bowl at midnight. My friend Christina has joined the navy in active duty and will be leaving next week. Her girlfriend said she signed for 5 years so she wanted to throw her a going away get together. I hope I can stay awake to bowl at midnight!

So... I thought I'd update as I won't be around much this weekend and won't have a lot of time to answer emails/phone calls. I'm going to update the baby's blog tomorrow with some pictures from our ultrasound.

    You are amazing - I can't believe you are staying up until midnight two nights in a row! I haven't done that in months! lol!

    I hate that you moved to blogger and took me off of your sidebar! haha! just kidding...

    I don't know why anyone would think it makes any difference where you blog... reading is reading no matter your host.
    I doubt you'll lose any readers, people will change their bookmarks. Just maybe leave your link on typepad for a month or so for any stragglers so they can find you.

    Anyway, you know I'll follow you anywhere. LOL!

    So I'm a regular reader, but I've only commented like twice, bad Lindsey! As long as you keep updating I don't care who you go through :) Like you said, you're cutting expenses where you can and switching to blogger is a great idea.
    BTW-Love Apples to Apples, so fun!

    Wow, how do you manage the energy? I can't seem to stay up past 9!! #2 is just taking out all of the energy out of me!! I think blogging is blogging, and if people want to read, they will. It is just a matter of getting used to it all...
    ...at least you managed to save yourself some money! Now, maybe I can just keep up my blog!

    Goodness you are busy! How the heck do you find time to do everything?!?!

    About blogger..... Its not bad to use. And you'll get used to it. Plus you'll save a little cash!
