Last night Ryan changed Porter's diaper and told him that today we weren't wearing anymore diapers. Only at nap and bedtime.
This morning we took off his diaper and he ran around naked all day. I am super duper proud to say we had ZERO accidents.... FOUR pees in the potty (ok three in the potty and one outside on a plant) and ONE poop in the potty. All on his initiative. I reminded him throughout the morning, but he is the one who would jump up and say "Oh I gotta go potty."
I swear, a switch just flipped in this kid. Just a few weeks ago we had accidents left and right when trying to go in the potty.
After he pooped in the potty I screamed and jumped around and danced and clapped and basically acted like a huge dork. He was grinning from ear to ear and then bashfully said... "Stop it mommy!" LOL!
You mean you didn't take a picture of it like Kate, from John and Kate Plus 8?!?!? I'm totally joking!

That's awesome! The same happened with Annika. It's like they just decide and it's done. Only one in diapers, yay for you! Now I need to work on Bianca!
ReplyDeleteThat is SO GREAT Nicole! I hope it's that easy when Luke's turn comes around. I wonder if it's harder or easier with boys???? Ally wasn't horrid, but I don't remember it being THAT easy!

Would you believe it if I told you that Tony DID take a picture of it!! LOL!! I think I deleted it thought! YUK!! How is he still doing with it? Oh wait, He's at Lori's. Im guessing thats on hiatus for now until next week? Just let me know how things are going and what progress and I can continue it at my house too! :) Maybe with see Lukas doing it, He will want to also! We are pretty open door here, so Lukas wont be afraid to show Porter how it happens! LOL! I always thought that Noah would be an inspiration, but Noah doesn't let the kids in when he's going. His parents taught him thats private.. :)
