Sunday

The last day of camping always seems like a wash. Checkout is at noon, so you pretty much get up and start packing up- which is what we did. I went running alone, and once I was showered I took the boys to the playground so Ryan could obsess in peace about how to organize and pack the Durango and camper up perfectly.

Once we were packed up, we met up with Leslie, Reyna and some of Leslie's family at Pentwater beach. The kids played for a bit, then we grilled some hotdogs and then decided to call it a day and head home.

Is it any surprise that Porter fell asleep before we even got out of the parking lot? The kid had such a busy weekend! I'm glad to be home, and we have a ton of laundry to catch up on. We've decided that we definitely have to make it a point to camp at least twice next summer. Porter had way too much fun, and so did we! With two little boys, its almost a given that camping will be a necessary to-do every summer. I can't wait to make many more camping memories with these little guys.

  6. Glad you had fun! I'm not a huge fan of camping, but Kevin loves it so we try every once in a while. With 2 girls (especially if they are like me) camping won't be a family favorit. Does look like fun, though.
