So, Item A: Projects.
I have made a couple hair bow holders for two of my nieces. This one is Aubri's. It will match her room perfectly and I can't wait to give it to her!
I also plan on making these photo blocks for a few people, I'd like to make one of these ruffle totes for someone, and maybe an adorable ruffle apron as well.
I also started making this peppermint garland, except I didn't use large circles. I found about 3-4" wooden circles at Jo-Ann for 29cents each and bought 20 of them. It'll still make a long garland but use more 'peppermints.'
I also love this ruffly felt rosette wreath, these washer ornaments, and these picture knob plaques,
Tonight I came across this tutorial to re-fashion a sweater into a hat/scarf/mittens. I remembered that I had a cute Gap sweater that had some holes in it and I'd saved it hoping to find something to refashion it into. Coincidentally, it is the same sweater that Porter wore for Thanksgiving last year. Isn't that hilarious?
I plan to give this to Hudson for Christmas. I thin he'll love it!
Item B: Neat (*crafty*) Websites I've found.
- Craftily Ever After
- Little Birdie Secrets
- Ruffles and Stuff
- Lynn Spin
- Craftiness is not Optional
Item C: An annual craft project.
Katie gave me this idea and I was able to execute it today. I plan to have a scrapbook with a page from each Thanksgiving. I think it will be neat to look back and see the things we were thankful for.
